Abstrak

This study examines the relationship between e-learning and student achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Pondok Pesantren IMMIM Putra Makassar. The study responds to the growing need for Islamic education to adapt to digital learning environments while maintaining its cognitive, moral, and spiritual orientation. A quantitative correlational design was used to measure the influence of e-learning-based instructional media on Grade XI students' PAI learning achievement. Data were collected from 45 students through questionnaires, classroom observation, and documentation of learning achievement. The questionnaire measured students' access to digital materials, interaction with online tasks, use of Google Classroom and Google Forms, engagement with multimedia resources, and perceived usefulness of e-learning in understanding Islamic concepts. The results show that students' perception of e-learning-based instructional media reached a mean score of 4.28, indicating a good level of implementation. Student achievement in PAI was also high, with an average score of 91.80; 44.4% of students achieved an excellent predicate, 40.0% achieved a good predicate, and 15.6% achieved a sufficient predicate. Simple linear regression analysis indicated that e-learning had a positive and significant effect on students' achievement, with t = 3.395, Sig. = 0.001, and R Square = 0.211. This means that e-learning contributed 21.1% to students' PAI achievement, while other factors contributed 78.9%. The findings suggest that e-learning can improve access, learning independence, assignment discipline, and digital engagement in Islamic education when supported by teacher digital competence, adequate infrastructure, and value-oriented instructional design.
