This study explores the implementation of inclusive pedagogical practices in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) and their impact on students’ character formation at SMP Negeri 1 Bajeng. Amid the shifting dynamics of the digital age, IRE must go beyond cognitive instruction to address affective and social dimensions of student development. Using a quantitative correlational design, this study involved 75 students selected purposively. Data were collected through a validated Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, and simple linear regression via SPSS version 26. The results show that the inclusive IRE teaching methods employed at SMP Negeri 1 Bajeng are rated positively by students (mean = 4.26), and character formation outcomes are categorized as very good (mean = 4.30). Furthermore, the regression analysis indicates a significant positive influence of IRE teaching methods on student character development, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.375, suggesting that 37.5% of character development can be explained by the applied teaching method. These findings confirm that inclusive pedagogy in IRE effectively supports the internalization of religious and social values in the educational setting.
