The International Journal of Shariah Economics and Digital Finance (IJSEDF) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal that publishes high-quality scholarly works focusing on the intersection between Shariah economics, Islamic finance, and digital financial innovations. The journal aims to develop contemporary insights on Islamic economic thought while responding to the challenges and opportunities brought by the digital era.

IJSEDF covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: Shariah-compliant financial technology (FinTech), Islamic banking, zakat and waqf management with digital tools, halal industry financing, cryptocurrency and blockchain in the context of Shariah, Islamic capital markets, as well as sustainable development goals (SDGs) through Islamic economics and finance. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches that combine classical Islamic scholarship with modern financial technology applications.

In addition to its emphasis on digital finance, IJSEDF also welcomes manuscripts addressing curriculum development in Islamic economics, case studies of Shariah-compliant business models, comparative analyses of global Islamic finance practices, and innovative pedagogical methods for teaching Islamic economics in higher education.

Although it emphasizes the global dimension of Islamic economics, the journal also accepts manuscripts from scholars worldwide, provided they align with the journal’s aims and scope. Manuscripts must be written in standard English and undergo a rigorous peer-review process. IJSEDF is committed to promoting scholarly excellence, ethical publication practices, and advancing the knowledge of Shariah-based digital finance.
