Al-Ma'arif: Journal of Arabic Language Education is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published four times a year, in March, June, September, and December. The journal is dedicated to providing a platform for the dissemination and exchange of academic ideas in the field of Arabic Language Education, with a particular emphasis on issues related to Arabic learning in schools, madrasahs, and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) across Southeast Asia.
